Blue Note Combo
I felt compelled to let you know just how satisfied I am with my “König Blue Note Combo.”I have been playing guitar for about 45 years now and have played through all kinds of combo amps during that time (e.g., Mesa Boogie, Roland, Engl).
For the past six months, I have been playing my Gibson ES-335 primarily through the “König Blue Note Combo” in a wide variety of playing situations. I am thrilled and completely satisfied across the board. Even at low volumes, any style of rhythm guitar sounds incredibly transparent, warm, crisp, and clearly defined. For any type of blues or rock solo, the tone is beautifully creamy, and you can achieve virtually any level of overdrive. To my ears, the Blue Note sounds more “American” than any US-made combo. Best of all are the low weight and the built-in tilt-back mechanism—making it a dream to handle. Top-notch quality—Made in Germany.
